The Old Gods

The man's face suddenly has lips and smiles, interrupting the blankness of his face. The smile grows and grows and grows until his head is nothing but a mouth with flat, blunt teeth and gums that are red and irritated. You are so mesmerized by the transformation that you don't quite see how close the mouth is until it opens up and swallow you whole.

You scream and thrash, but before you realize it, you're just sitting in the snow in front of the portal to the void.
