How can we assist you?
Here you will find all the important RULES for the readathon, and how you can complete your objectives depending on what path you are taking.
I have my demon! I'm here to party!
Well done! And congratulations on completing Demonathon last February!
This is the easiest route and allows you to be the most flexible!
Here's how it works:
• Each party room requires an invitation with a password to enter. Each room also has a reading prompt!
• Once you enter a room, you'll meet someone who will give you an invitation to another party! You don't have to stay at one party for too long. Your password is still good for as long as the party is rolling!
• You may use as many or as few books as you like to complete the prompts. You may also complete as many or as few prompts as you like! It's a party! You do you!
- If you're doing another readathon, you may use those books or short stories if
they meet the prompts!
• Challenges are posted throughout the hotel! Keep your eyes peeled! Use #DemonathonHotel AND @demonathon to tag your challenges on youtube, twitter, and/or instagram!
• The group read is a short story: "Dead Air" by Nino Cipri & is available free online
• If you want to keep track, copy the spreadsheet here, but you don't have to! If you're unsure on how to copy the sheet, watch the Youtube video!
• THERE IS A GIVEAWAY: If you want to read how to do HARD MODE and enter to win a book, go on to the LAST section below!
• Have FUN! :) That's a requirement!

I need to summon a demon... but I want to party too!
No problem! This is more challenging, and you will need to keep track of your points!
Here's how it works:
• Go to the Tunnel. Perform your summoning!
• Get your first invitation. Your demon will be accompanying you as you wander the hotel. They want to have fun too!
• Each party room requires an invitation with a password to enter. Each room also has a reading prompt!
• Once you enter a room, you'll meet someone who will give you an invitation to another party! You don't have to stay at one party for too long. Your password is still good for as long as the party is rolling!
• You may use as many or as few books as you like to complete the prompts. You may also complete as many or as few prompts as you like! HOWEVER, there is a secret number of points that must be earned in order to fulfill your contract (it's not that hard, I promise!). Keep that in mind!
- Each prompt = 10 points
- Each page = 1 point
- Each challenge = 5 points
- Each POC Author on your TBR = 5 points
- If you're doing another readathon, you may use those books or short stories if
they meet the prompts!
- You may use one book to cover as many prompts as fit, but ONLY ENTER THE
PAGES ONCE. No cheating :)
- You may use any/all of the Helper Demons if you wish! (Remember, Aegir is
ready to help if you've really partied too hard...)

Well, aren't you just exciting? This is HARD MODE
And because you're doing hard mode, you are entered into the giveaway competition!
Whoever has the most points will get one book off their Amazon wishlist!

• You MUST COMPLETE EVERY PROMPT! If you are summoning a second demon, you must complete ALL CHALLENGES too!

- YOU MAY NOT COMBINE PROMPTS. Every prompt must have its own book.
