The Old Gods

It is lonely in the vastness of the abyss. The silence can be overwhelming, some might even call it maddening.

 

It is not safe to be alone in the dark. Perhaps it is best you find a friend amongst the other summoners. After all, there is safety in numbers. The terrors with many eyes and many mouths can't get you all.

You enter the lodge of summoners and find a group already formed by the hearth. It's warm and bright here. This is much better than the desolate cold outside.

There are new summoners who need help, and returning summoners who may not know as much as they think.

You step forward with a smile, and wish that the firelight didn't make their eyes look so sunken...
