You hand over "The Last Black Unicorn" and try really hard not to look like you're judging Noct for his choices in comfort reads. None of them seem to fit a demon of Darkest Night, known for violence and trickery, but you didn't hand over the books. He did. So.....
Noct smirks and your choice and nods. He tucks it under his arm and looks around the library. "I suppose I should tell the little book fairy I'm done. I should pop around the hotel a bit to see what I can." He gives you a bow of his head. "You've been most helpful, summoner. I hope you enjoy your stay at the hotel. And good luck."
The portal closes, and there's nothing but the reading nook left in perfect condition.
You're not sure what just happened, but you figure it'll be a story to tell someday when you recount your adventures of life.
